Good time management begins with little habits that can be repeated again and again- once the habits are in place, the habits will increase productivity, lessen stress, and buy time each week.
Plan Your Day the Night Before
Write down 3 priority things to do tomorrow and put time blocks on them so that you wake up with a purpose and not responding to the first thing that comes along. Get a basic planner or application and follow it.
Use the Pomodoro Technique
Focused work with 25 minutes of work and 5 minutes of rest in order to remain focused and not get mentally exhausted during the day.
Limit Distractions
Turn off notifications, close tabs that one does not need, and schedule when to check mail and messages rather than checking every minute or every half an hour.
Review and Adjust Weekly
Record what worked, what did not work at the end of every week and then keep on changing your schedule in such a way that your time management approach is constantly becoming better.
